AvatarKids is an initiation project by Avatarion Technology AG for children with serious illnesses who are being treated in hospital for an extended period of time.
AvatarKids offers a perfect combination of fun, satisfaction and knowledge.
Thanks to today's technology, sick children of all ages can learn through play with our robots, whether in hospital or at home.
With the robots, contact with friends and families is maintained. Thus, the child is never really alone.
The focus is on awakening and supporting early childhood understanding of technology and science (STEM subjects) - always in conjunction with fun and enjoyment. The lab is designed to give children easy access to the topics of robotics, energy and environmental protection.
The idea for Avatar Kids was born in the Technolino laboratory and the applications for it were developed.

When Sandrine and Jean Christophe Gostanian came across an educational centre for children in Paris, it was immediately clear to them: we need something like this in Switzerland too! A place where children can effectively combine fun and learning. As parents of three children, they know what keeps families busy and what it takes to make them feel good. With Kindercity, they made their dream come true and opened the first child development centre of its kind in Switzerland in 2004.

A child learns at a pace that adults can hardly keep up with. The reason is simple: children learn through play. They are naturally inquisitive and want to know everything in detail. We use these factors in our Sciencity support association to encourage children at an early age and to awaken the joy of learning and knowledge. Children and families are our future. Investing in our children is the best investment of all.
The Sciencity support association was founded by entrepreneurs to raise awareness of social issues such as the promotion of children (MINT subjects). Sciencity supports all scientific projects of Kindercity and was also significantly involved in the Avatar Kids project.
At the heart of Y-Parc, no fewer than 50 retailers are at your disposal. This new centre, which contributes to the enhancement of Yverdon-les-Bains and, more broadly, the region, provides a comprehensive offer for its residents and visitors. This vision redefines life in a public space by combining business centres, gastronomy and a promotional area, a place of development, innovation and solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises.
